KORYTNICA –
the biggest left-side inlet od Drawa river. It is about 43 km long. The river begin
near Miros?awie and run through several lakes
Korytnica’s headwaters isn’t using for kayak track because of many natural
barriers like fallen trees, and the others like water gates near mills, broken
wooden bridges or water power stations.
All of the river’s valley is extremely picturesque. The main because of old pines, oaks
and beeches. This river and the lakes during the track are a place where You
can observe whooper swans and white-tailed eagles.
Before
the river end in Drawa (near Bogdanka), it runs through forests with healthy
and cognitive values. There are places which have very clean water and erosion
riversides.
The
river is rich with many species of fish like trouts, graylings and in forests,
there are many species of mushrooms and animals like wild boar, deer, roe deer.
All of track You can spend in silence or possibly with nature sounds. Perhaps,
Korytnica is the last river with this kind of values. It is open to properly prepared canoeists, because
it isn’t on the National Park area. Korytnica has three inlets, like M?ynówka,
Setnica and Kamionka.
